National Australia Bank closes branches over ‘security threat’
National Australia Bank said on Wednesday it was closing its branches temporarily due to a “physical security threat”, although it did not give further details.
“The safety and security of our customers and colleagues is our priority,” the bank said in a social media post on Twitter.
The lender said it was working with police and would issue an update later.
