Police examine Adelaide CBD car park after crash on Port Road at Thebarton

Two men have been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a serious car crash in Adelaide’s inner-west.

A sedan slammed into a pole on Port Road near George Street at Thebarton at about 7:30am.

The two men inside were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital in a serious but stable condition. 

Police are also examining a possible crime scene at a car park in Newmarket Street in Adelaide’s CBD, about 1 kilometre away.

It is not yet clear how it might be related to the crash.

Major Crash officers are attending the scene and traffic restrictions are in place on Port Road.
