The Justice Department subpoenaed information about about an Apple account belonging to former White House counsel Don McGahn in February 2018, according to a bombshell new report.

Apple last month informed McGahn, who worked for President Donald Trump, that the DOJ had subpoenaed information about the account and said the government stopped them from telling him, two people briefed on the matter told the New York Times

The tech giant did comply with the subpoena by the government but reportedly didn’t tell McGahn what information was handed over.
