Two men killed after car and fire truck collide near Lithgow

Two men have been killed after a car and fire truck collided near Lithgow today.

Emergency services were called to Castlereagh Highway near Pearsons Lookout, near Lithgow, after a NSW Rural Fire Service truck and Ford Falcon crashed.

The two men in the Ford died at the scene and have not been formally identified yet.

Two men were killed after the firetruck and car collided north of Lithgow.

The four people in the firetruck were uninjured.

The driver has been taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established as police investigate the incident.
