Man accused of stabbing partner appears in court charged with murder

An alleged killer accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death appeared at the Old Bailey today.

Nicole Hurley, 37, was found with multiple stab wounds at a flat in Broxwood Way, Primrose Hill, north London on October 10.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics and police, the mother of four died at the scene.

Her boyfriend Jason Bell, 40, appeared in court via videolink from HMP Thameside today charged with murdering Ms Hurley.

Bell, of Broxwood Way, is also accused of false imprisonment in relation to another person, dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified, and driving without insurance.

Judge Alexia Durran remanded Bell in custody ahead of a hearing on 2 February.
