Teenage boy fatally stabbed on NSW Central Coast overnight

A teenage boy has died in hospital after being fatally stabbed on the New South Wales Central Coast overnight.

Police were called to Kariong, west of Gosford, just after 11pm last night.

They found a 13-year-old boy with a stab wound to his stomach.

A teenage boy was fatally stabbed on the NSW Central Coast overnight.

Local residents performed CPR on the boy before emergency services arrived.

The teen was airlifted to Gosford Hospital in a critical condition, but died a short time later.

A 13-year-old boy was arrested at a nearby home.

No charges have yet been laid.
