A crafty Adelaide artist is changing up the city’s scenery by adding enormous googly eyes to Australia’s most recognised advertisements.
The prankster has spent the past few days attaching the large eyes to some of the most famous faces, leaving residents with the giggles.
The jokester’s most impressive feat so far is the attachment of googly eyes to the Colonel on the KFC drive-thru bucket along Greenhill Rd.
Several people shared their bewilderment on social media has they wondered how the one-trick artist climbed so high without being discovered.
‘How did someone get up so high?’ a woman wrote.
Another victim of the googly-eye bandit is Dan Murphy’s face in Welland with commenters joking Dan might need to ease up on the beverages.
‘Dan Murphy’s had a few too many tequilas,’ one man joked.
‘Could be the most exciting thing to happen in Adelaide since … well, ever,’ another joked.
However it’s not just buildings the comedian has his eyes on as Jim’s face was also found sporting the fashionable eyes on a van parked at Gawler Place in the city.
People have celebrated the prankster’s ingenuity online and are left wondering where he will strike next.
