Australia vs England – Ashes: Live score from Day 2 of the 5th Test
England saw a brilliant start slip through their fingers on the first day of the final Ashes Test, with Travis Head’s outstanding century and an injury to Ollie Robinson helping shift the momentum.
Head’s commanding 101 saw the hosts head into day two 241-6, leaving Joe Root and Co frustrated and unable to take advantage of their electric start at the Bellerive Oval.
Cameron Green also made a fine half-century but was dismissed in a very short third session on day one of the pink-ball Test, with Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc set to take to the crease on day two for the hosts.

Hello and welcome
03:02,
It’s Day Two time in this fifth and final Ashes Test match, and Australia have survived their first major scare this winter.
At 12 for three, things were looking pretty bleak. But Travis Head’s 100 and Cameron Green’s half-century have helped steady the ship.
Can the hosts now propel themselves up to beyond 300, starting on 241 for six? Let’s find out…
