Hour-long operation in Adelaide CBD after hatchback falls on 4WD

A woman has walked away uninjured after a tricky rescue operation in an Adelaide CBD car park.

Her silver hatchback crashed through a barrier on the top floor of a Holland Street complex and fell onto a four-wheel-drive below.

It took emergency services more than an hour to free the 74-year-old woman.

After securing her small Toyota, firefighters cut off the driver’s side door.

The woman, who cautiously climbed out of her car at 12.30pm, appeared to be calm and in good spirits despite the shock.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
