Reviving India’s Congress party: Rahul Gandhi ends months-long march in Kashmir

In India, the opposition Congress Party has ended a months-long march in Kashmir. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, or Unite India march, was aimed at breathing a new lease of life into the Congress. The march was led by Rahul Gandhi who says he wants to stand up against an ideology that wants to destroy the ideology of India. The 52-year old referring to the BJP party of current prime minister Narendra Modi. FRANCE 24 is joined by Dr. Shama Mohamed, who took part in this march and also participated at the tail end in Srinagar.
