ASX set to extend losses after jittery Wall St session
Summary
- ASX futures down 24 points, or 0.4%, at 6020. Aussie Dollar at US71.18c
- The S&P 500 finished 0.3% lower overnight. The Dow shed 0.8%, though the NASDAQ added 0.6%
- Spot gold rose 0.3% to $US1907.51 an ounce. Brent crude is up 1.8% and US oil 2.4%. Iron ore rose 0.4% to $US115.13 per tonne
- Australian Q3 inflation data is due from the Australian Bureau of Statistics at 11.30am AEDT
