Jett Kenny shares his frustrations over beachgoers amid lockdown
Jett Kenny has shared his frustrations over beachgoers relaxing by the sea despite the Sunshine Coast being in a three-day snap lockdown.
On Sunday, the Australian model and lifeguard, 27, shared a video of people sitting in large groups on Mooloolaba Beach, despite restrictions stating they should only leave the house for essential reasons including exercise.
Uploading a video to his Instagram stories, Jett called out the beachgoers while he watched from the club.
‘Plenty of “exercise” going on,’ he complained as he panned across the shore.
A second clip saw Jett breathe a sigh of relief after two police officers made their way over to disperse the group.
‘Police finally came, never seen a place clear out so fast,’ he laughed.
Residents living in the 11 LGAs can only leave home for four reasons including for essential goods, to provide or receive care, for essential school and work and for exercise.

South-east Queensland was plunged into a snap three-day lockdown from Saturday, after the state recorded six new local cases of COVID-19.
The lockdown has impacted more than three million residents, with NRL, AFL and Super Netball games all cancelled on Saturday across the state.
Queensland Deputy Premier Steven Miles said the state had no choice but to impose the harsh restrictions.
‘We have seen from the experience in other states that the only way to beat the Delta strain is to move quickly, to be fast, and to be strong,’ he said.
‘This will be the strictest lockdown that we have had.’
