Thousands of Sydney anti-vaxx protesters rally against jabs for kids
In an unlikely duo anti-vaxxers against child vaccination and protesters for Novak Djokovic‘s freedom gathered in the thousands.
A protest endorsed by United Australia Party leader Craig Kelly started at Victoria Park in Sydney‘s CBD on Saturday to challenge child vaccination.
During the protests Mr Kelly called for an ‘end to mandates and medical segregation’ alongside waves of maskless protesters.

Protesters marched through the streets calling for an end to the child covid vaccine rollout for kids aged five to 11 which began January 10.
However alongside signs with statements like: ‘hands off out kids’ were a variety of signs calling for the release of tennis star Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic’s visa had been in limbo since January 5 when he attempted to enter the country without vaccination and with incorrect information on his entry form.
Late Friday night federal government made the decision to revoke the player’s visa for the second time on ‘health and good order grounds.’

Immigration Minister Alex Hawke said in a statement he was concerned Djokovic’s staying in Australia would ’cause an increase in anti-vaccination sentiment.’
Protesters waving their signs demanded Djokovic’s visa be reinstated and he able allowed to play in the Australian Open.
On Saturday NSW reported 48,768 new infections and 20 deaths.
